WhatsApp’s new Beta version for Android comes with this blogs



WhatsApp has rolled out a new update for Android users who are on the
WhatsApp beta version. The latest app update [v.2.19.18] comes wwith a
few media-related shortcuts.

Whatsapp Trick

After the update, when you view a media file shared on WhatsApp, you will be
able to see new options including “Set as..." and “Rotate,” when you tap on the
three dots on the right corner. While these are only applicable to images, one
new option of “Show in chat” will be available for all images, audio and video
files. This option will come in handy if you are trying to track the conversation
around the time you and your contact shared the media file.

This new update was first reported by WABetalnfo, the online channel that tracks
the changes on the instant messaging platform. According to their report, this
update also comes with a bug as well. WABetalnfo also suggested that
WhatsApp is working on rolling out search support for Stickers. But it been
spotted on this version.

" If you first open WhatsApp and the last tab used is"Stickers", the button
will appear. It will disappear if you switch tab. This trick has been tested on
2.19.18 and 2.19.6 Business," said WABetalnfo. For instance, if the last thing you
opened in WhatsApp was Stickers then the search option will be visible.
However, if you shut the WhatsApp app and reopen it again, the search option
disappears.

A previous report by WABetalnfo had revealed that WhatsApp is working on the
rollout of third-party keyboards integration for Stickers. As per the report, GBoard
This will be the first keyboard app to use Stickers Integration, which was reportedly enabled on December 12, but is disabled "probably( because of) development reasons. Once the GBoard app allows this feature
automatically to the WhatsApp Beta on Android. The report also stated that
whatsapp will allow more keyword to use their integration service in the future, 
but also of now it is exclusive for Gboard.
